GADSDEN CAREER CENTER PARTNERS WITH COUNCILMAN THOMAS WORTHY TO HOLD JOB FAIR FOR LOCAL EMPLOYERS
GADSDEN – The Gadsden Career Center is partnering with Councilman Thomas Worthy to hold a job fair for local employers. Over 40 employers will be present with over 1,000 job openings. There are various job paths to pick from, including but not limited to:
Alabama Department of Corrections
Attalla Health and Rehab
Choice Fabricator's Inc
Etowah County Sheriff's Office
H & R Block
The job fair will be held Wednesday, August 10, 2022, from 09:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m at the The Venue at Coosa Landing. Employers can set up from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Aug. 9 and at 7:15 a.m. on the day of the event.

The Venue at Coosa Landing is located at 201 George Wallace Drive, Gadsden, AL 35903. The event is free and open to the public.
The Alabama Career Center System (ACCS) is part of the Alabama Department of Labor’s Employment Services Division. The ACCS operates 56 Career Centers throughout the state, touching all 67 counties. Career Centers provide free services for both jobseekers and employers, including résumé and interview preparation services, educational and vocational training, along with workforce development services and wage assistance.
