“We are proud to help carry on the tradition of this long-standing job fair in the Ft. Rucker area,” said Alabama Department of Labor Secretary Fitzgerald Washington. “We have recruited a variety of employers to participate in the job fair and all of them have available jobs to fill – it’s one of our requirements to participate. There are opportunities in so many career fields. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking for a job or looking for a change in career.”

“We’re also thankful for the continued support of WDFX Fox 34, as they help us get the word out about available jobs and put folks back to work. Enterprise City Schools has also generously donated the use of the high school gymnasium,” said Washington.
“Working with the Alabama Department of Labor last fall was a great success in providing a forum for the people of the Wiregrass to have a place to look for and find career opportunities. The fact that Secretary Washington and his staff are now coming to the Ft. Rucker area to do it again was something we here at WDFX were very pleased to hear. WDFX is excited to once again see the results of a great Job Fair,” said Fox 34 General Manager Jerry Fairchild.
Applicants should come to the job fair with multiple copies of their résumés. They should be prepared to interview and should be dressed professionally.

The Alabama Career Center System’s mobile career center along with staff from the area career centers will be onsite at the job fair to assist jobseekers in applying for jobs.

The Alabama Department of Labor / The Alabama Career Center System is a partner in Alabama Works, Alabama’s unified workforce system.
